Rampant Egotism

I was asked to write up a list of my scenarios for the Irishgaming wiki, so I've just spent an enjoyable half-hour rummaging through my hard drive. By my calculations, I'm over the fifty-scenario mark, and next year's Warpcon will be the tenth year in a row I've run Cthulhu there.

Warpcon 1998
Call of Cthulhu: The Once and Future King
(Basic idea: All the PCs are reincarnations of the Knights of the Round Table. One player (<lj user="cujo_valtone"> read his character sheet, listened to the descriptions of the other characters - a rich old English war veteran, his young wife, his French protoge, his old wise mentor and so on, then handed me a note and walked out of the room. Two hours later, he wanders back in, just in time for the other characters to arrive at Glastonbury, where his character's been waiting in a tent stuffed with guns and ammo.)
Warpcon 1999
Call of Cthulhu: Serene and Primal
MERP: Lights! Camera! Action!
(The PCs are a film crew, sent to make the Lord of the Rings movies by filming the actual events in Middle-Earth, which they reach by a teleporting magic wardrobe.)
Alternity: Plug And Play

Warpcon 2000
Call of Cthulhu: My Overcrowded Pineal Gland
(The infamous 'you're all playing bits of one guy's mind' game.)
Blue Planet: Things to Do in Dyfedd When You’re Genlifted
(A good con for cool scenario titles.)
Werewolf: Werewolves Without A Cause

Warpcon 2001
Call of Cthulhu: All I Can See Is White
Nobilis: In At The Deep End
(I was trying to work out why I wrote so little for this con, then I realised that I ran it.)
Warpcon 2002
Call of Cthulhu: Verboten! Operation: FAUST
Blue Planet: Inversions
(You're all dolphins!)
Legend of the Five Rings: Blossoms Amid Snow
(I'd totally forgotten this one. Wuxia fox-spirit PCs!)
Nobilis: The Primrose Monarch
Warpcon 2003
Call of Cthulhu: Curtain of the Mind
(lesson 1: When writing con scenarios for six players, please ensure that two of them aren't utterly useless.)
Blue Planet: Pirates of the Archipelago
Buffy: The Buffy Files
(Best remembered for having to play a dying fish, followed closely by a lost cow.)

Warpcon 2004
Call of Cthulhu: Dead Dogs and Black Roots
('I've solved this scenario,' said one player. 'You can stop now.' )
Werewolf: Red Moon Rising
Unknown Armies: Electioneering
Warpcon 2005
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Olden Days
Exalted: Princes of the Earth
Halo: Friend of a Friend
(I write a Halo scenario based strongly on the Marathon games, with a intricate plot about a deceitful and rampant AI, and four of the six players are about nine.)

Warpcon 2006
Call of Cthulhu: Echoes
Conan: Sacrifices of the Well
Firefly: Ain’t No Chinese Word For This Situation
Paranoia: Disaster Management

Warpcon 2007
Call of Cthulhu: The Log of the Narwhal
Doctor Who: Time Out Of Joint
FRUP: Kill Bargle

Gaelcon 1999
Legend of the Five Rings: …And Does Not Descend

Gaelcon 2000
Legend of the Five Rings: The Blood of Family
Unknown Armies: Carcosa, NJ

Gaelcon 2001
Nobilis: Briar & Honeysuckle

Gaelcon 2004
Call of Cthulhu: The Great Game

Itzacon 2007
Call of Cthulhu: The Testament
(For those who haven't seen this, this scenario works as follows. The GM hands the players a folder packed full of about twenty handouts, then sits there for an hour and a half while they read them all and piece together the mystery.)

Conpulsion
Blue Planet: At the End of the World

K2
Blue Planet: Reflections on Still Water
Unknown Armies: Recounting the Cost
(This had my favourite McGuffin ever - a briefcase full of hanging chads.)

Vaticon 1999
Blue Planet: Treacherous Waters

Dominicon 2000
Legend of the Five Rings: The Road By The Sea

Dominicon 2001
Blue Planet: Xenocean

Dominicon 2002
Unknown Armies: Favoured Horse

Leprecon 2001
Unknown Armies: Kind Hearts & Coronets
(For years, this was the most highly rated scenario on the rpgarchive.com. I'm still proud of that.)

There are a few missing from that list, like the Puppetland game, or the weird Traveller thing I wrote with Shane Lucy, many many years ago.
