An Inconvenient Truth/Diving

I finally got to see An Inconvenient Truth and I recommend seeing it. It's well presented, entertaining, bloody scary at times (there's a section about two-thirds of the way through where he piles consequence on consequence on the temperatures rise, the glaciers start cracking, which means less heat is reflected, which means temperatures rise, which means the glaciers crack and melt more, which means even less heat is reflected...and within a very short time, sea levels rise considerably and we get a few million refugees and the End of the World As We Know It), but then finishes on an uplifting call to arms. Go see it.

And as possible preparation for tEotWAWKI, I started my diving course today. It went ok - I was the only person who hadn't snorkelled or used fins before, so there was a bit of catching up and my legs feel like rubber, but I haven't drowned yet.
