Sentences I edited out of my manuscript included gems like 'the extensive estates extend' and 'Dissent and dissatisfaction in Dis'.

On the bright side, I seem to have hit a stride post-Dragonmeet. I've done about 3,500 words a day for the last three days. If I can keep that up, I'll still be insanely incredibly intolerably behind, but slightly less insanely incredibly intolerable behind than I used to be.

The sheer scope of this project is still alarming me. I've done the Infernum player's guide, but the GM's guide and Campaign book are still being worked on. And I really should send in supplement ideas. 700+ pages of my writing, and it all needs to cohere. Writing generic-fantasy d20 means you can throw stuff out there and let the GM decide whether or not he puts it into his campaign - if I write about, say, a race of extraplanar floating heads with psychic powers, then a GM can choose to leave them out without any problems. In a setting-based game like this, every element of rules and background has to work together properly.
