Quick updates:
- am still sick with post-Gaelcon flu, but am well enough to travel.
- therefore, I am going to Morocco.
- Gaelcon photos, not to mention Morocco photos, will be uploaded later.
- when I find my camera cable.
- I have *a* camera cable, one which looks utterly utterly identical to my old camera cable, but is a tiny fraction of a centimeter too big for my camera.
- This is freaking me out in a very House of Leaves way.

Edit: Having visited the camera shop where I _bought_ the freaking camera, the guy behind the counter was unable to supply me with a replacement cable. He tried all the connectors on the universal USB cable gadget they had, and none fitted. This gets progressively weirder.

I did grab a cheap card reader so I can offload stuff, though.

I'm afraid the flu is closing on to me too :(. I'm looking forward reading your Gaelcon review, and seeing the photos.

And there must be a logical explanation for the growth of your camera cable. The only I can think of is that someone mistakenly replaced his cable with yours. Maybe during Gaelcon? When was the last time you actually used your cable, Mr. Hanrahan? Do you have any proof you've actually owned a cable such as that? Are there any precedents of madness in your lineage mr. Hanrahan? ;).

It looks like I accidentally stole Morgan's cable. Maybe.

Still doesn't explain the confusion at the camera shop.

Hmmm, aha, a typical "Palahniuk esque" ending ;). I should have suspected that from the beginning...

I'm glad you recovered your cable (I'm afraid my cam would be pretty useless without it), and yes, the bit of the camera shop is still unexplainable.
